Community Table is a local mission to feed the hungry and provide fellowship to those in the Poseyville area and the surrounding communities. Community Table is open every Thursday at the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the meals are served from 5:00pm to 6:00pm

We invite everyone to drop by for a free, GREAT meal!

More About Us
Community Table is free and open to the public without regard to income, age, race, religion, or any other form of discrimination. Meals are provided without proselytizing.

We served our first meal on May 5, 2011 to just 25 people. Today we serve anywhere from 75 to 120 hungry people! Community Table operates on your donations, along with grants, and we have even purchased needed items for the kitchen out of our own pockets. Unfortunately, we can not purchase food with grant money. That is where we need your help... money to purchase food.

Donations may be mailed to:

Our Mission

Community Table is a mission project of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, in cooperation with area churches and civic organizations, to serve a nutritious meal weekly, provide comfort, fellowship and moral support to all those in need within our community. We will serve all who enter our doors without discrimination of race, creed, religious affiliation, age, ability, income or sexual orientation.

All patrons will be treated with respect, love and compassion.
